HENNA ART

The 5 most often asked questions about henna....

1. Where is it from?
Henna also known as Mehndi is a traditional form of body decoration from the Middle East, Egypt, and other African countries. It is very popular in India, Pakistan, Morocco and Iran.

2. What is henna?
Henna is a dried and ground up leaf from the henna plant. The Henna I use is mixed with lemon juice and eucalyptus oil. It is FDA approved. I buy my henna from India.

3. How long do I have to leave it on?
You will need to leave the henna paste on you skin for at least an hour. The longer you leave it on, the darker your design will be. Be careful not to smear your henna. It will stain your clothes.

4. How long does it last?
One to 3 weeks.

5. What color will it be?
The henna will dry and flake off. It will leave an orange stain on your skin. It will turn a mahogany brown after 24 hours.

Henna is popular with adults and kids. It's perfect for Grad nights, themed parties, company picnics, birthday parties and corporate events.
